I recommend Unbound – Artist's books with Toni Hartill, which is a TakeTwo course. EXCELLENT! I'm very excited about making artist books so here are a few links to introduce you to the opportunities to translate your visions into "touchable" works of art:

Better World Studio October Exhibit
Selene is leading the project and Susan is working with the curating team (Linda and Marcee) to put together the artwork. They will be communicating more details as things progress. Thanks to all of these artists for tackling this new frontier.

Calls for Entry
Marcee and Selene are great about sending me information about opportunities to exhibit our art. If anyone runs across an opportunity, send it to me via email. I'll put it in the info shared at the next meeting if the submission date is far enough in advance. However, some of these are annual shows so if you don't have time to get a piece in a show, put it on your calendar to follow up next year.

From Marcee: Another "renovation" that combined painted images, embellishments, and a true artist's touch.
From Johnnie: I learned so much from the composition exercise y'all helped with in July so I'm going to share the "design path" to the final piece. More shapes, more shapes, more shapes, even shapes that make me uncomfortable LOL.
I had the circles drawn before the meeting and added the long cone shapes after. I drew the triangle on the right first, waited, drew the second one. I liked it but wanted to add additional colors, sooooo.... I started playing.
